September 15 Designated as Assembly Sunday

The Assembly of Bishops has designated Sunday, September 15, 2013 as "Assembly Sunday". On this day, the Assembly requests the prayers of all clergy and faithful as it prepares to convene September 17-19 in Chicago for its annual meeting. The Assembly Sunday encyclical, which includes a special prayer to be offered by parishes on the 15th, can be read here.
