On Saturday, December 1st, His Grace Bishop John of Amorion, a retired bishop of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, fell asleep in the Lord. And this morning, December 5th, His Beatitude Patriarch Ignatius of Antioch and of all the East fell asleep in the Lord after a brief coma brought on by a stroke. The announcement of his repose from the Antiochian Archdiocese can be found here.
It is our fervent prayer that God will grant them blessed repose in the bosom of Abraham, where they may find a reward for their labors, and that He will grant you, the faithful, good health and many years.
