| Integration of Faith | Fr. Rob provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and adolescents, rooted explicitly in the healing tradition of the Orthodox Church. He is an Orthodox Christian priest, trained in Orthodox theology at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, and understands psychotherapy as participating in the Church’s therapeutic work of restoring the human person to wholeness in Christ. Central to Fr. Rob’s approach is metanoia—a true change of heart and mind that leads to the healing of the whole person, not merely symptom reduction. He views the human person as created for communion, yet often wounded by trauma, distorted relationships, and the fragmentation of the nous. Therapy attends to the integration of body, mind, and soul, addressing trauma, distorted patterns, and fragmentation of the heart and mind. Within this explicitly Orthodox framework, clients are supported in repentance without shame, growth in self-awareness, and movement toward healing, freedom, and life in Christ. |
