Integration of Faith I seek to bring my own wounds before the Lord through personal counseling, Confession, spiritual direction, and engaging in the practices of the Church so that I can become a healing presence for others. During counseling sessions, I silently pray for God's presence and for the intercessions of the saints as I approach the sacred ground of the human heart. I reference Orthodox practices and theology where appropriate and tailor faith integration to each client's needs. My counseling practice flows authentically from my heart, so I am always providing "Orthodox counseling," even to secular clients. I study the work of Fr. Stephen Freeman and Fr. Stephen Muse and regularly participate in Orthodox Christian continuing education to inform my work. I also regularly consult with Orthodox Christian providers and clergy. For more information on my Orthodox counseling approach, feel free to view my OCAMPR 2024 workshop, Trauma Transfigured: Beauty from Pain.
