Bishop Thomas' Remarks at Vespers
Saturday, October 03, 2026
Good evening, it’s a blessing for this church to have all these holy hierarchs, In my last visit a few days ago, someone asked me like people ask me, if Bishops ever gather, and they asked me the same question I get asked all the time – about unity – I’m never worried about that because we gather together, we worship together, go to the chalice together, as long as we do that, we are one Church – one Holy Catholic, Apostolic Church, the proclamation, the exclamation, that once again is here this evening as we gather together, from all over the United States and bless this community, in ways it has never been blessed before. Your Eminence, it is a great/rare blessing to have you here, as it is to have all the bishops here, I’d like you to come and offer some words to us, after which the banquet will be ready for us.
