Orthodox Mission Teams: APPLY TODAY FOR A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE!

Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC), St. Augustine, FL - Orthodox
Mission Teams make a difference. Sponsored by the Orthodox Christian
Mission Center (OCMC), short term Orthodox Mission Teams, through work,
witness, and worship, becomes a visible expression of love, unity, and
support in the Church. Teams offer the opportunity to witness the
Orthodox Faith in action and support Orthodox communities around the
world.
Members of the 2006 Argentina Orthodox Mission Team following the house
blessing for a local family in Berisso.
This first mission team to Argentina assisted the local Orthodox
community with home repairs to needy families.

Orthodox Mission Teams in 2006 will travel and assist needy Orthodox
communities on various projects around the globe: Alaska, Albania,
Ethiopia, Guatemala, India, Kenya, Romania, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Projects include youth ministry, construction, teaching, healthcare and
medical outreach.
Mission Teams require volunteers to participate to ensure success.
Through sharing the Faith, team members contribute to the growth of the
Church in a cross-cultural experience. Apply today to be part of this
unique team effort! All team members take part in a pre-field
briefing prior to their short-term mission service.
Volunteers needed include: priests, deacons, professionals, students,
seminarians, teachers, youth directors/leaders, engineers, carpenters,
construction workers, contractors, painters and healthcare/medical
personnel (doctors, dentists, nurses, and counselors). All those
willing to share the Faith are urged to apply today.
